have you tried putting things back together? well, for Karen Newman this might be a very difficult task, now that both her parents decided to divorce. karen, being the middle child, is being trapped between the belief that her parents might long for each other when they grow apart. she struggles to the reality of accepting how it is to have a broken family and how it is to fix everything that is broken.
